Yippee! Yesterday some treats arrived at my doorstep… a product of some joyous summer sale shopping. Today the package was from Net-a-Porter, who is having their Final Reduction Sale right now (see it HERE).
Net-a-Porter packaging is just the best. Sale or not, it always makes you feel like you are about to see something very special. And you are.
I am quite predictable in stocking up on baubles. Today I received an Oscar de la Renta resin ring (only $53! HERE) and my favorite ring of all time – the YSL Arty (HERE).
But the biggest coup were these Jimmy Choo Jade Embellished Sandals (find HERE) I got for 50% off! Most sales have some pretty shabby shoes left at 50% off, but these were perfection.
They are also SIX AND A HALF inch heels. Now I can run, jump, do math, whatever in heels, but these were another story. And I am in lurrrrve.

Gorgeous stuff! Don’t think it a good idea to try 61/2 inch heels at 58! So I will leave that to you. However, I would suggest sitting pretty, and letting Mr. A do your running for you!
You, my darling, could get away with ANYTHING. Although it would be totally unfair to those short and squat like me to have Amazonian princesses like you with an additional 6 1/2 inches on them. So you can pass and just say it is out of pity for the “little people”.
