Who did you love? Who did you love to hate?

How does Martin Scorsese get left off the eyebrow list? And yes I mean best. P.s- Milla Javovich is who I loved.
Marty gets the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Eyebrows category. Unfortunately nobody gives a nugget about him on the red carpet; I couldn’t find a single pic of him.
Milla was TO DIE. The hair and makeup were perfection. I am just jealous of her, which is why both she and Angelina don’t get any face time on my page.
I feel better now. I was second guessing my eye for gowns.
I completely agree with Michelle Williams, but I just can’t jump on the “Gwyneth looks amazing” bandwagon. I think that she looks like she is wearing a lampshade or like a modern day female stormtrooper. But then again, I’m a food blogger, not a fashion blogger, so my opinion in this arena holds little value.
I have blogged about bacon, so you have every right to have an opinion on fashion! And my love for this Gwyneth look could be my husband’s love of Star Wars rubbing off on me. Next thing you know, I will start dressing like Jabba the Hut.
You covered the royal wedding better than the networks and again have hit the spot – thanks! I’m going to be the dissenting voice on Michelle Williams; the color is amazing, but I’m eh on the dress. Milla and Angelina feel time warped to the 80′s. Why no love for the Natalie Portman gown? It is by far my favorite, sans the accessories.
I will give Natalie the Best Loss of Baby Weight Award, but nothing on the dress. Just “eh” on that one myself. But I love dissenters!!!
Where’s the love for Cameron Diaz? She looked gorgeous! Loved her dress, and it fit her to a t. Great hair & makeup too. Michelle Williams was just OK, didn’t like the peplum effect of the dress. Gwyneth looked regal, if a bit boring. Liked Angie, but her arms are too skinny. Sexy dress though. On Natalie P: there are NO polka dots allowed on the red carpet!
Great picks! Finding your favorites is all of the fun!!
Does anyone else think Gwyneth mailed it in on the hair? If I was lucky enough to have someone dedicated to ironing my hair, I wouldnt slap it into a low mommish ponytail like she did. but boy, can she pull off the white jersey.
Normally I would agree with you on that type of hair. But remember when she tried to do an updo when she won an Oscar? She looked like a 12 year-old boy trying on his mommy’s ballgown. Still makes me cringe thinking about it.
I LOVE the way you structured this post, by the way! I did an Oscar post over at my blog, and so we have a few that we agree on (Emma Stone…THE GREATEST!) and a few that we disagree on (Gwyneth…ugh, no!) and then some on my list that were not on yours and vice versa. Your bangs people made me laugh out loud! Great blog, really am enjoying it!

Thanks Ashley! I hate to backtrack, but I am starting to blah on Gwyneth myself. I thought it looked amazing live but in pictures… not as much. Can’t wait to check out your blog! Headed over now!!!
