Hello! (And Goodbye!!)

You have NO IDEA how much I have missed you…  Really.

Yesterday, I spent twelve hours doing laundry.  Mostly because a bottle of dessert wine exploded in my (of course) checked bag and I had to wash every single thing.  This was painful for three reasons: 1) It was totally my fault and I had to listen to Mr. A tell me about how it was my fault.  Multiple times.  2) Wine should never be spilled.  Or consumed in a plastic cup.  Now I can say I have done both.  3) When I tried to suck the wine out of my laundry, I got glass shards in my teeth.  Not exactly the high I was going for.

Anyhow, today I have about two thousand pictures that I am going through.  And I am so excited to share all of the details of my trip with you.  It was so amazing and I am so so so so so so lucky to have been able to do this.  Mainly because Mr. A doesn’t like to take time off of work for any extended period of time.  BUT, Mr. A got a new job!  Which means we got to take a nice, long vacation before it started.  It also means….

I AM MOVING!  (Check out the picture for a not-so-subtle clue as to where.  And try – if you know me and/or my blog – to contain your laughter.)

And we may actually make it over to see you finally!!!! (I would really just be coming over to visit the Jersey Rose, but you understand. Right?) And in the Nasty, we will have to have “Drewzel’s Room” instead of “MoMa’s Room”… Shhhhhh, don’t tell MoMa!

      • Drew says:

I will take any visit I can get, no matter the reason. As for the room, you can still call it Moma’ Room, but we will know the real name.

  15. Okay, a rapid-fire response… Liz, you’ve got it!! He’ll be the AGM there. Heather, I actually LOVE to move but very sad to leave NOLA. As for the purse and other shopping exploits, you will have to wait for the posts this week!!! Tara, I have seen it. I know you thru a mutual friend, I lived in Cincy and raised my kids there( they went to Mariemont schools- pronounced Marymont not Marie). We lived in Terrace Park, which is lovely. I would be happy to give you hints, I have a daughter in Maderia , also nice and close to the best Mall, Kenwood Towne Center. Yes! I know the city well.

  18. Brandi Ellis via Facebook says:

    So excited for you guys!

  19. Thanks Linda! I spent one day there and actually went to that mall (not terribly shocking knowing me)… I am pretty sure that I will have one day to find somewhere to live so I will definitely take a look at those areas. And once I actually have any clue what I am doing, I will definitely take you up on that offer for helpful hints!!! xx.

  20. You sound very excited, so I am excited also! Being close to Chicago shopping can’t hurt, but sad you are leaving NO!
